Good: I get to spend all day tomorrow with my friends scrapping at the Go Scrapping crop. I totally need it because of the bad below!
Bad: Avery has been sick for 2 days and we have been housebound today on the PD Day.
Funny: My friend Jane and I, went with Andrea and her buddies to the Firefighters Fashion Show last night. Her husband Colin was in the show. It sure was a lot of laughs. 1,100 women screaming over the firefighters. Some of the women had on some of the craziest outfits. Did they think that they might pick one up? Bizarre. It was fun to do some people watching.
Happy Weekend to you!!!

A First
Avery had her first hockey tournament this weekend in Stoney Creek. It started on Friday night and they were guaranteed 3 games. We decided to stay over and enjoy the tournament atmosphere with the other families. We had so much fun. What a great group of girls and a great group of parents and siblings. The pool was a hit for all the girls and they loved going out to dinner together. The girls lost there first game, tied there second and won there third game. They so wanted to stay in the hotel another night. We made it into the play offs. They won the semi final game and but lost in the championship game. Avery is sporting the silver hardware. She is so excited. The kids played great. The parents were cheering like crazy and it was super exciting. All of the games were close and 2 went into overtime. So much excitement for these 7 & 8 year olds. Avery is hooked and so is her family. What a great weekend.
We also had some valentine fun. I hope to post the cards later. Happy Family Day!

Miracles
I have had two of my own and helped a friend to birth her two babies. Watching a baby being born is truly a miracle. Yesterday I was honoured and priviledged to see Erin Elizabeth be born into this world. She is beautiful, and small, and precious and everything a newborn baby should be. I was the first person to hold this little bundle of cuteness and I spent the afternoon snuggling her while her momma recovered. Welcome Sweet Erin.
