SO Excited!

Well after my last post something totally cool happened. Donna Downey (a scrapbooker extrodinaire, magazine columnist, and totally inspiring blogger)left a comment about my canvas. It made my day. Thank you Donna!

Inspired

by Donna Downey and the work she is doing on canvas with paints and scrapbooking stuff. Love watching her videos and checking out her blog. I had this canvas sitting around and thought that I would play tonight. This is the result.

It was so much fun! The wheels are turning, is this a possibility for Christmas gifts?

Weekend Fun

I am still suffering from our first curling game on Friday. Can't believe the different muscles you use for this sport. Ouch!

I spent Saturday with some of my scrapping friends at the Go Scrapping Crop. Awesome day although not very productive. I completed 2 layouts but I was mostly inspired by all the work that was going on around me. I also taught a Quickutz class. 4 dedicated scrappers came to play. We had a lot of fun. Here is the layout we created.

Fall Favourites

Glad to have my mom and dad back. They had fun in Italy. Can't wait to get my hands on their pictures and do a mini album for them.

Happy Monday!

Pumpkins

Last week on the PD day I took the kids to the pumpkin patch. Little late posting some pictures but here are a couple. I love pumpkins and 5 or 6 came home to our house. The kids kept choosing them and in the cart they went. I love decorating for fall. I think that my love has been passed along.

Apples and other stuff

Today was our annual trip to Chudleigh's Apple Farm. It is something that the kids talk about each year and the request to go starts right after school begins. We were a little late going this year but we got there. We missed the honeycrisp apples but picked Courtlands today. Chudleigh's is so much fun for the kids and there is so much to do - nature walk, rope swing, huge slides, petting zoo, tractor rides, apple picking and so much more. Have to say that the kids were not cooperating with the camera today and I didn't get they best pictures. But we had fun!

Gotta love that orange soda pop shoppe mustache!

Saturday I was teaching at the Scrapping Turtle. Here is the layout that we did this month. I am really excited because I am going to be teaching a Quickutz Class at the Go Scrapping Crop this weekend in Waterloo.
